Review: If i stay

Director: R.J. Cutler

Writers: Shauna Cross (screenplay), Gayle Forman (novel)

Chloë Grace Moretz who you might remember seeing in big films such as Mathew Vaughn’s Kick ass or Martin Scorcese’s Hugo is back on screen with another fatastic performance in  the story of an introverted talented teenage cello player born of an adventurous and loving family, who falls in love with a rock band lead singer. It is the story of music without the high school musical drama.
As her family travel they get in to an accident and her soul wanders about the hospital meeting the various people who played a role in her life and her life story unfolds.
A story of young love, ambitions, family and desperation as she tried to find herself in the chaos that is life and really isn’t that what we are all trying to do?
Fantastically written and passionate acting, the movie draws you in to her world as she struggles to answer the the question, the title of the film, to find a reason to live. Watch it and it may just give you just that in your own little world
