Director & Writer: Steven Moffat

Actors: David Tennant, Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman,  Billie piper, Karen Gillian, Peter Capaldi, Mackie Pearl, Catherine Tate,  Christopher Eccleston, Alex Kingston, Arthur Darville, Freema Agyman

My brother John and my friend Zenat are the reason why i love this series too much. Compared to them i look like a phony nerd. They read fantasy books and can spend hours discussing the universe and various interestingly nerdy stuff. By now i know i have lost 3/4 of the women reading this. So men lets soldier on.

Dr. Who is the story of an alien who has a time machine in the shape of a police box called the Tardis. After an incident that left him as the sole survivor of his race and planet Gallifrey, he travels the universe and more impressively time with a human companion.
Filled with Paradox, mystery and suspense every season of it is an adventure to behold. The man with 13 lives of which one could last up to thousands of years and a time machine, chooses a pet companion to keep him company in his adventure through time. With the ability to change faces, body type even his character during his regeneration which uses up a life , sort of like a video game life. Nothing is impossible with the Dr. If you like science fiction then i need not tell you that Dr. Who is the star wars of the UK and it is a brilliant story.
One of its strengths and some (Very few) consider weaknesses is the fact that it is the only series in the owrld that can change all its leading actors and still maintain its audience. I’d like to see game of thrones try that hah! so far we have had 12 official doctors with the possibility of thirteen more with each doctor representing a phase in the long life of the Gallifreyian and . He is as feared as he is revered through out the universe having seen when time started and having been there when time ends. He is the Dr.The latest companion is Pearl Mackie who is a Victorian trained actor who am looking forward to seeing on screen for the first time in fall.
Its IMDb rating is a staggering 8.8 since 2005, even after changing its lead characters 3 times. Any science fiction nerd has to watch this.

  1. You haven’t lost me haha! Gotta love a solid Dr. Who episode. I do prefer Matt Smith over Peter Capaldi but the show’s still a hit in my eyes. Nice review, are you currently sharing your work on any other platforms?

haha Matt Smith had that special something but Peter Capaldi does justice to the character especially after husbands of river song and the last ended season.
